Cloud and Mist green tea has an individual earthy, stone-like aroma, while reminiscent of a spice.'

This rare green tea Jiangxi Province, China. The clouds and mist ("yun-wu" in Chinese) are a perfect environment for tea growing. The blindingly foggy conditions of this Taoist mountain provides natural shade allowing the teas to grow wild. They are later harvested by the local mountaineers. Competing for sunlight constantly, the leaves produce a high concentration of chlorophyll and nutrients that results in a rich meal like taste.

Yun-Wu tea is made from a very slow growing, high quality variety. Because of this, it has a low yield, making it quite sought after. The leaf is large, some can grow up to 1 and 1/4 inches long, dark jade in color and appears to be somewhat fluffy with downy white hairs.
